‘Asking for It?’, has been selected for a powerful show addressing the topic of gender based violence in its many forms, to tie in with 16 days of global activism against GBV.

Jen is delighted to continue to partner with Moon Women’s Health to showcase the power of the natural world to heal our bodies. A rotation of works will be on show in the main space.

The Ascent of Man; 23 May to 21 June, at the House of Smalls in Edinburgh

‘Muzzled’, has been selected for @thehouseofsmalls latest exhibition alongside many artists with thought provoking responses to the theme – ‘the Ascent of Man’.

It’s my first time making a tiny work that will fit in the dolls house space.

Excellence in Fibers; 5 March to 1 June, Pacific Northwest Quilt & Fiber Arts Museum, USA

Mountain Stream was selected by the Fiber Art Now creative team for Excellence in Fibers IX. The exhibition of works from forty artists across the globe will be on display all spring.

My personal thanks go to Ms D Harris, the owner of this work who kindly agreed to loan it for the duration of the show.

Mortal and Strong; 10th – 17th May, The Sidings Gallery, Waterloo, London, UK

In Women’s Health Week the Mortal and Strong charity will present 100 Artworks completed by acclaimed and emerging artists from across the UK created to tell the stories of 100 women who have faced life threatening health conditions, alongside 100 photography pieces of Scars of Gold by Sammy Weston & Dr Liz Murray, and a series of health talks by leading speakers across a range of subjects. Singer Songwriter, Sally Cranham will debut original songs in support of the charity and campaign.

Jen will be showing works made for Juliet Fitzpatrick who faced breast cancer and Clare Baumhauer who faced vulva cancer.

Contexture; 21 March to 19 April, at the House of Smalls in Edinburgh

Following on from International Women’s Day on 8 March, ‘Hold your Tongue?’ was selected for show alongside the textile work of 80 female artists responding to their experiences of being a woman; in company with the completed I Am Woman Project, a large textile piece two-years in the making by Holly Searle (The Subversive Stitcher), incorporating 81 small textile works created by over 60 women.
